Course 14 — Foundation Level

By the end of this course you will be able to:

  • Apply the DR ABC primary survey to any casualty in the correct order
  • Call 112 and communicate the essential information clearly and calmly
  • Control bleeding using direct pressure and correct PPE
  • Perform CPR at the correct rate and ratio until help arrives
  • Use an AED, place a casualty in the recovery position and respond to choking
