By the end of this course you will be able to:

  • Establish a behavioural baseline and identify when that baseline is broken
  • Recognise the four key indicators of suspicious deviation: movement, timing, attention and clothing
  • Explain where reconnaissance sits in the pre-attack cycle and why it is detectable
  • Apply the HOT protocol to assess a suspicious person and the ACT framework to respond
  • Follow the Observe, Record, Report SOP without confrontation or bias
